BIOGRAPHY

Ysai Zamora was born and raised in Los Angles, California, and began their dance training at the late age of 14 after being recommended by a family friend to try ballet. Ysai training started at the Colburn School under the direction of Kelly Ann Sloan, Lucy Record, Seth Belliston, and Colleen O’Callaghan. Ysai then continued their training at Westside School of Ballet under the artistic direction of Martine Harley and also trained at Marat Daukayev School of Ballet under The artistic direction of Marat Daukayev. Ysai is now currently attending the Boston Conservatory
at Berklee where they are currently pursuing a BFA in contemporary dance performance. Ysai
has also attended numerous prestigious summer intensives such as Long Beach Ballet, Princeton
Ballet School, Oregon Ballet Theater, Gelsey Kirkland Classical Ballet Academy, Nutmeg
Conservatory of Arts, State Street Ballet, Bolshoi Ballet Academy, and Northwest Dance Project.
